About The Position

Join MWA Financial Services, Inc., a registered broker/dealer, investment advisor and wholly-owned subsidiary of Modern Woodmen of America as a Systems Coordinator. This role collaborates closely with teams across the organization to support, maintain, and improve technology solutions that drive efficiency and enable data-informed decision-making. The Systems Coordinator also serves as a key liaison between MWA Financial Services/Modern Woodmen General Insurance Agency and enterprise support functions, including Enterprise Program Management Office, Enterprise Architecture, and Information Technology. Modern Woodmen of America is one of the nation’s largest fraternal benefit societies, with over $18 billion assets. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or specialized training and 5 years’ related experience in securities, finance, regulatory or information technology.
  • Ability to pass FINRA Series SIE, and 6 within 180 days of hire. We provide time to study during work hours to help you achieve this goal. Work towards FLMI designation.
  • Knowledge of FINRA and SEC rules and regulations preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking, technical aptitude, and research capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey both technical and non-technical information clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage work independently.
  • Solid understanding of information technology best practices, including how technical solutions impact broader systems and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the business units within the Broker-Dealer/RIA to identify potential areas of technological improvements. Document and track project process and efficiency gains.
  • Act as liaison between departments to coordinate system changes, project implementation, and the testing of software, systems, and procedures.
  • Help create and maintain procedure files and training documents.
  • Coordinate efforts with the Information Technology department, Information Security, and Vendors Contracts to facilitate work with outside vendors.
  • Assist in the build, maintenance and storage of business unit data. Facilitate access and reporting of this data, including requests tied to regulatory examinations.
  • Support the administration of NetX360, RightBridge, Docupace, MyView, RegEd and other business unit systems.
  • Oversee entitlements, data mapping and API changes; support form updates.
