About The Position

We are looking for a Principal Systems Analyst who will drive the end user experience with your technical competence, initiative, and brokerage knowledge to support our integration products and services.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required, Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technology preferred.
5+ years professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions
Strong understanding of financial or brokerage industry
Demonstrable experience researching, optimizing, developing, and authoring solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems
Proficiency in: API technologies: REST, SOAP
Proficiency in: Data formats and configuration languages: JSON, YAML
Proficiency in: API testing tools: Insomnia, Bruno
Proficiency in: SQL and relational databases, Python and scripting
Proficiency in: Monitoring tools: Splunk, Datadog
Working knowledge of API authentication models [JWT, 2Way SSL]
Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to distill complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Self-starter with a passion for accuracy, clarity, and continuous improvement.
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in an Agile construct.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

Lead business and systems analysis for complex, multi-platform technology initiatives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, interpret, and document detailed system requirements.
Conduct gap analyses, evaluate existing system logic, and recommend enhancements or new solutions.
Develop user stories, use cases, and process flows for current and future state systems.
Provide technical analysis and support across middleware, backend, APIs, and data layers to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives
Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and guide other analysts in documentation best practices.
Evaluate system designs for functionality, performance, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the evolution of documentation standards and Agile practices.
Manage issues and drive resolution across multiple concurrent initiatives and sub-initiatives.
