About The Position

Raye IT Consulting, LLC is a 8a certified minority woman-owned IT consulting and technology firm with over 20 years of experience delivering mission-critical programs and support for the Federal Government and large agencies. They specialize in program and project management, capital planning and IT investment portfolio management, infrastructure support, and application development deployment, including IT operations and maintenance. Raye IT is seeking an adaptable and flexible Systems Administrator to support a federal client within the Washington, D.C. area. This technical role involves supporting systems, users, and applications, handling end-user support issues, and administering converged hardware and VMWare. The position requires travel onsite to Silver Spring, MD twice a week for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
5+ years of system engineering experience
Public Trust Security Clearance

Scheduling and deploying patches
Create, upgrade, and manage servers
Manage group policy
Microsoft Azure
Create SOP
Manage Domain Controllers
Manage certificates for Domain Controllers and webservers
Account management
Monitor server status
VPN
Vulnerability Scanning
Provide Tier 2 & 3/other support and investigate and troubleshoot issues.
Develop systems engineering planning documents.
Perform system engineering and integration (SE&I) for OMAO information management systems and processes.
Develop, manage, and/or adhere to systems engineering and software development processes to ensure end-to-end integration and improve service delivery.
Identify and with government approval, implement opportunities to streamline and enhance software administration, site development processes and procedures, and improvements.
