About The Position

The System Administrator is a hands-on technical role responsible for maintaining and modernizing technologies within the CTS global organization. This position requires advanced Windows and VM Administration skills, with current hands-on experience in Microsoft Server and VMWare technologies. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English (speaking and writing) and will work closely with various teams to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Well-versed understanding of Virtualization technologies like VMWARE and Hyper-V.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn new concepts quickly. (Agile “out-of-the-box”).
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills.

  • Ability to understand a problem and provide solutions.
  • Ability to update and create new documentation.
  • Good understanding of change management processes.
  • Good understanding of ITIL.
  • Good Understanding of Network topologies.
  • On-site 5 days a week at the office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Install, configure, and administer of Windows servers (2003 and latest) and Linux systems.
  • Manage Microsoft Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, and security.
  • Manage AD PKI and Certificate renewals.
  • Manage Veeam Backup Infrastructure with SOBR (Scale-out Backup Repository).
  • Manage on-prem SCCM Infrastructure (Patch & Software Deployment, Inventory Remote Control, Monitoring).
  • Proficient with SQL Administration (DB maintenance, Performance Tunning, Backup and DR Recovery).
  • Develop and maintain Powershell scripts and or automation.
  • Manage Active Directory (User Accounts / OU / Group Policies and other features of AD).
  • Manage Veeam Backup solution on-prem and in-cloud.
  • Oversee Windows administration, authentication systems, log management, and content filtering.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Certifications would be nice to have.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and administer of Windows servers (2003 and latest) and Linux systems.
  • Manage Microsoft Active Directory, including DNS, DHCP, and security.
  • Manage Active Directory (User Accounts / OU / Group Policies and other features of AD).
  • Manage PKI and Certificate renewals.
  • Manage Veeam Backup Infrastructure with SOBR (Scale-out Backup Repository).
  • Administration, Development and growth of Azure Tenant (DNS, Certificates, Subscriptions, etc.).
  • Manage on-prem SCCM Infrastructure (Patch & Software Deployment, Inventory Remote Control, Monitoring).
  • Manage SQL Administration Tasks (DB maintenance, Performance Tunning, Backup and DR Recovery).
  • Develop and maintain Powershell scripts and or automation.
  • Write and or update Documentation / Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Be available for critical system changes, updates and system down situations.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and patching cycles.
  • Ability to handle down/down scenario situations.
  • Hands-on Troubleshooting in the technologies listed above.
