About The Position

As an integral part of our team, you are responsible for performing overall information systems support including but not limited to planning, implementation, troubleshooting, and administrative activities across multiple IT functional areas. This role blends hands-on technical management with strategic leadership, serving as the primary liaison among internal teams, managed service providers (MSPs), and external auditors. Ideal candidates are tech-savvy, have strong knowledge of cloud-managed role-based access, and enjoy collaborating closely with an MSP to maintain secure, compliant, and resilient IT environments.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen able to meet background investigation requirements and obtain a Top-Secret security clearance.
  • Must pass initial and annual random drug testing.
  • Working knowledge of networking technology, security, and SharePoint data management.
  • Experience producing and maintaining compliance documents such as SSPs, POA&Ms, and policies.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AD, Microsoft 365 GCC, SharePoint, Teams, endpoint protection platforms, and backup technologies.
  • O365 GCC Cloud experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Professional certifications may offset formal education requirements.
  • 5+ years of progressive IT or systems administration experience with cloud services, networking, and enterprise systems OR 3 years of cybersecurity compliance experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading or supporting CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and DFARS 252.204-7012 compliance activities.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security architectures in Azure and Microsoft 365 GCC.
  • Proficiency in identity management, RBAC, and secure configuration of enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • PowerShell scripting experience for automation, auditing, and system hardening.
  • Professional cybersecurity certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CASP+, CISSP, CISM, or CMMC-CP.
  • Experience working with MSPs and external assessors to support audits and remediation.
  • Background in DoD contracting environments and handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
  • SharePoint, Teams Security Group Management, and PowerShell scripting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational infrastructure inventory, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimum use of IT resources.
  • Own the relationship with the managed services provider to ensure compliance and full system functionality.
  • Design and define role-based security in the Azure cloud.
  • Manage administration of user accounts, including email and remote access.
  • Lead all CMMC readiness, implementation, and sustainment activities across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms), and other compliance documentation.
  • Define and structure SharePoint data architecture and policies around storage repositories. Audit and confirm success of regular backups, storage, and retrieval processes of critical data.
