About The Position

WOW! is hiring a hands-on System Technician to maintain and support its HFC network. The role involves fieldwork to keep the network reliable, troubleshoot and repair issues, optimize signal performance, maintain network equipment, and assist with expansion and serviceability. Technicians also respond to outages and support emergency restoration while providing customer service and representing WOW! Pay is $25.00–$30.00 per hour, based on skill and experience, with quarterly bonus opportunities and pay increases tied to certifications. Paid training and a path for growth are highlighted.

Requirements

Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, or repairing HFC networks is highly preferred.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical customers.
Enjoy working outdoors and staying active.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Comfort learning technical skills and using tools.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) networks.
Test and optimize signal performance.

Conduct preventative maintenance and system balancing.
Identify signal leakage and ensure compliance.
