As a System Engineering Intern, you will support technical activities aimed at improving discipline health and enhancing engineering processes. You will gain insights into propulsion systems utilized in 5th-generation weapon system products. You will collaborate with teammates, stakeholders, and management to achieve project goals. You will utilize Python for data processing and data science applications. You will work with tools such as O365, Visio, MS Teams, and Visual Studio to support engineering tasks.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or physics and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience using Python for data processing and data science.
- Familiarity with O365 Tools, Visio, MS Teams, and Visual Studio.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of data science fundamentals, including data processing, statistics, and analyzing data for meaningful insights.
- General understanding of electromagnetics and/or wave mechanics.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum principles.
- Familiarity with GitHub/ZenHub for software versioning and project management.
