About The Position

This internship offers an opportunity to work with other engineers on projects supporting systems-level work. Interns will have the chance to update systems level requirements/design documents, define and update input/output data for the system, support system level verification activities, enhance and/or create tools that aid systems engineering tasks, and investigate and help develop new and emerging avionics technologies. Interns will learn how to create and deliver various types of presentations, gain basic to advanced scripting and coding capabilities, learn how to create more effective documentation, and work in a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a STEM major
• Actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session
• Ability to work onsite during the internship
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• A pilot's license
• Basic experience with Python or other scripting language
• Demonstrates good communication skills
• Self-starter who works well independently
