About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Network and Computer Systems Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to support the design, development, integration, operation, and maintenance of complex technology systems while applying advanced expertise to solve unusually complex technical challenges.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/Poly
  • Advanced knowledge in the systems engineering job family; recognized as a subject matter expert.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and perform in a lead capacity.
  • Ability to plan, assign, and supervise the work of others.
  • Knowledge of application development tools, system enhancements, and capability development.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical/scientific discipline.
  • 5+ years of related professional experience. 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree may be preferred.
  • Master's degree and 3+ years of experience
  • Experience identifying new system capabilities, enhancements, and concept demonstrators.
  • Experience supporting system integration and modernization of enterprise environments.
  • Ability to interface with senior technical leadership (aligned with supervision received in the job profile).

Responsibilities

  • Working on unusually complex technical problems and delivering highly innovative solutions.
  • Applying extensive experience to analyze and assess system requirements, processes, and methodologies to ensure total system integration and performance.
  • Contributing to—and may lead—small teams in planning and implementing large programs while interfacing with senior management.
  • Supporting long‑range functional strategic planning under consultative direction.
  • Applying advanced principles, theories, and concepts to determine and pursue courses of action needed to achieve desired results.
  • Performing additional responsibilities as required in support of engineering and system integration efforts.
