About The Position

GDIT is hiring a ServiceNow System Administrator to support enterprise IT operations and mission workflows. The role focuses on securing access, improving observability and data quality, delivering role-specific dashboards, and planning platform capacity. The position is onsite in Chantilly, Virginia, requires a current TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and U.S. citizenship, and involves 40 scheduled hours per week with less than 10% travel.

Requirements

At least 8 years of related experience.
Current Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph.
U.S. citizenship.
Technical training, certification(s), or a degree.

Responsibilities

Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and attribute-based access controls (ABAC) to restrict access and define permissions according to users’ roles, attributes, and need to know.
Apply observability practices, including continuously tuning alerts to reduce noise, validating data quality before ingestion, using structured logging conventions, and following security and governance policies.
Design contextualized, role-specific insight dashboards for operator, analyst, and leadership mission workflows.
Filter telemetry, alerts, traces, and operational indicators in dashboards according to mission responsibilities to support faster triage and targeted decision-making.
Conduct continuous capacity planning using telemetry trends, resource-consumption analytics, forecasting models, and platform-performance indicators.
Use capacity-planning insights to support cost optimization through rightsizing, archival strategies, dashboard-efficiency improvements, and policy-aligned data retention.
