About The Position

Provides Linux systems administration and operational support for mission-critical environments, including command-line system administration and application, data, and messaging flow management. The candidate should have solid, hands-on Linux administration experience and be comfortable independently troubleshooting and resolving routine to moderately complex system issues.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
  • Ten (10) years’ experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • One (1) year experience in Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS operating system.
  • Five (5) years' experience administering Linux, Unix, or Windows Operating System.
  • Five (5) years' experience supporting applications in the SIGINT environment.
  • Three (3) years' experience installing software packages such as .iso and RedHat package Managers (rpm).

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) years' experience configuring, troubleshooting, monitoring, and administering a message service (such as Java Messaging Service, TIBCO, Active MQ, Artemis, Kafka).
  • CWIP: IAT Level I Certification, IA Baseline Certification in Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS operating system.
  • SA1 - 5 years no degree.

Responsibilities

  • Provides Linux systems administration and operational support for mission-critical environments.
  • Manages command-line system administration.
  • Manages application, data, and messaging flow.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves routine to moderately complex system issues.
  • Provides 24x7 after-hours on-call support through a rotating schedule.
