The primary purpose of the Machinist is to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment to manufacture precision parts. This role adheres to Integer's values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements. The Machinist is accountable for meeting cycle time and yield expectations, and may be required to operate more than one machine simultaneously. Responsibilities include sharpening and changing tooling, making offset adjustments, monitoring equipment, presetting tooling, maintaining tooling, troubleshooting issues, deburring, buffing, sanding parts, verifying documentation, and performing inspections using microscopes and other tools to ensure conformance to specifications. The role also involves practicing lean manufacturing principles, performing preventative maintenance, expanding skills through training, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
