About The Position

The CNC Swiss Machinist will produce machined parts by safely operating a computer numeric control (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and continuous improvement, interpreting blueprints, dimension, tolerances and producing high quality components to specifications.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum one year experience utilizing a personal or business computer.
Minimum three years of verifiable work history.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Must be able to work for prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
Minimum of six months’ experience as a Swiss CNC Machine Operator or Swiss Machinist
Hands-on experience with high-precision measuring tools, including Oasis, Kiosk, CMM, and/or Keyence
Experience performing quality inspections to verify parts meet tolerance and specification requirements

Responsibilities

Operate production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications.
Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and specifications.
Maintain logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Follow ISO 9001/ISO 13845 ANSI/AAMI/ISO standards.
