Part-Time Swim Instructor - Huebner
About The Position
The Swim Instructor teaches children ages 6 months to 12 years in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment. The role focuses on swim instruction and life-saving water safety skills while building positive, trusting relationships with students and parents. Instructors receive paid, hands-on training with an experienced mentor and teach weekly lessons, celebrate student milestones, and prioritize safety in and around the pool. This is an active role that involves being on your feet and in the pool. Set shifts include evenings and weekends, with opportunities to pick up additional hours.
Requirements
- Must enjoy working with children and bring positive energy.
- Be reliable, safety-minded, and professional, with strong communication skills.
- Be able to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
- Be comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching or swim experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Train with an experienced mentor to learn the organization’s swim instruction methods.
- Teach weekly lessons and encourage students as they reach milestones.
