Part-Time Swim Instructor - Solon
About The Position
Emler Swim and Gymnastic Schools is hiring a part-time swim instructor in Solon to teach children from 6 months to 12 years old. The role focuses on teaching swimming and water-safety skills in a safe, fun, encouraging environment. Instructors receive paid, hands-on training with an experienced mentor and teach weekly lessons while building positive relationships with students and parents and celebrating student progress. The position is active and requires being on your feet and in the pool. The schedule consists of set shifts that include evenings and weekends. The employer notes that the hours may suit students and part-time workers, and there may be opportunities to pick up additional hours. The posted pay range is $14.00–$17.50 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and certifications. Entry-level team members start at the beginning of the range, with opportunities for pay increases as they gain skills and certifications.
Requirements
- Love working with children and bring positive energy.
- Be reliable, safety-minded, and professional, with strong communication skills.
- Be able to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule.
- Be comfortable in the water and active on your feet.
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching or swimming experience is a plus, but is not required; paid training is provided.

Responsibilities
