About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a Swedish Teacher for a client in Baltimore, United States. The role involves providing customized language training to a beginner student for personal enrichment and travel. The course is one-to-one, with a total of 20 hours, and sessions are two hours long. The student is motivated to learn Swedish to connect with her heritage and visit Sweden. The position is freelance and part-time.
Requirements
- Native Swedish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Possess a valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Baltimore, 21224.
- Submit CV with references (if available).
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one Swedish language training to a beginner student.
- Customize language training based on the student's motivation (heritage connection, travel).
- Conduct sessions in Baltimore, 21224.
- Adhere to a schedule of once per week, with flexibility for Tuesday or Thursday at 4 pm.
- Be available to start as soon as possible.
