About The Position
Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a Japanese teacher for one of our clients in Phoenix, United States. This is a freelance, part-time position for a general, one-to-one course. The total hours are 30, with each session lasting two hours. The classes will be held at the student's home in Phoenix (85034). The student is a lower-intermediate learner, aged 25-34, motivated by an interest in Japanese music and literature, and wishes to improve conversational skills. The schedule is once per week on Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday at 5:30 pm. The start date is July 30, 2026. Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability. The hourly rate is negotiable.
Requirements
- Native Japanese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 20 miles of Phoenix (85034).
- Ability to submit CV with references, availability, and earliest possible start date.
- Meet the stated conditions.

- Experience with JLPT N2 level students.
Responsibilities
- Provide customized language training to a professional student.
