About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a Japanese Teacher for a client in Bedford, United Kingdom. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general language course with a total of 24 hours, consisting of two-hour sessions. The ideal candidate will be a native Japanese speaker or hold a relevant teaching qualification, have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter, possess a valid work permit/visa, and live within 20 miles of the specified location (MK43 0DS, Bedford). The student is looking for lessons on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings after 5 pm, starting in October 2026. The student's motivation for learning Japanese is to facilitate easier travel and exploration during holidays. The schedule and location may be flexible, and the hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Please note that visa sponsorship is not provided.

Requirements

• Be a native Japanese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Have a valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of MK43 0DS, Bedford.
