About The Position

Join the farm team as a sustainable agriculture apprentice! Apprentices will work on a variety of agricultural enterprises which include organic vegetable production, orchard management, mushroom production, and other seasonal agricultural tasks on the Eden Hall campus. Each week and shift will be different depending on the farm's seasonal needs. Employees will work collaboratively with crews to accomplish tasks such as identifying pests, determining soil amendments, planting in greenhouse, and working with Parkhurst to determine harvesting plans. In the winter, we also tap maple trees and manage our organic orchards.

  • Notify other manager(s) if working multiple jobs on campus
  • Students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year.
  • Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.
