The Sustainability Manager role is based in St. Louis (hybrid role) and will be part of a collaborative, strategic, solution-oriented, and growth-focused team. This role will lead the development and execution of Food Ingredients' sustainability governance, reporting, and compliance programs as a standalone company. It involves establishing sustainability metrics, data ownership processes, internal controls, reporting calendars, and governance frameworks. The manager will coordinate sustainability reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting for various stakeholders. Additionally, the role includes developing and managing a responsible sourcing roadmap, partnering with Procurement to advance supplier transparency and sustainability initiatives, and monitoring emerging sustainability regulations like EUDR, EPR, and PPWR. Collaboration with various internal teams (Marketing, Commercial, Quality, Operations, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Communications) is key to addressing sustainability risks and opportunities. The role also supports the development of sustainability dashboards and leadership updates, and partners with Corporate Affairs and Legal teams for coordinated responses to environmental and social reputation risks.
