Requirements

  • 2+ years of work experience in Banking, Research, Consulting, Finance, or Sustainability; credit experience is a plus
  • Significant interest in the sustainability space; relevant work experience and/or academic degree a plus
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Robust work ethic and positive attitude
  • Desire to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects independently and to completion
  • Excellence demonstrated in prior endeavors

Responsibilities

  • Providing sustainability research support to the BXCI investment teams who are integrating sustainability-related risk evaluation as part of the investment process
  • Support marketing and reporting templates and business requirements for external facing sustainability reporting deliverables, including Article 8 reporting
  • Working collaboratively to create and maintain sustainability presentation materials, investor reporting, and other communications for key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with colleagues in institutional client solutions and the Global Sustainability team to provide solutions for investor requests for sustainability data, reporting and responses to due diligence questions
  • Prepare and conduct engagement with BXCI portfolio companies on material sustainability topics such as decarbonization
  • Liaise with external sustainability vendors on various workstreams
  • Coordinate with the BXCI Value Creation and Asset Management teams on focus sponsors and borrowers
