About The Position

As a Survey Crew Chief at Olsson, you will perform varied survey work across projects, including construction staking, boundary surveys, topography surveys, and ALTA surveys. Working under the guidance of a professional land survey manager, you will apply your knowledge of field concepts, practices, and procedures to help ensure the quality and precision of survey activities. The role also provides opportunities to take on project management responsibilities, including project research, boundary calculations, and collaboration on project planning and coordination. You will work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

The position includes use of a company truck for transportation to and from job sites, applicable personal protective equipment, a company-issued laptop, prescription safety eyewear and work boot reimbursement, and cell phone reimbursement options.

Requirements

• Four years of experience working with a licensed surveyor.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
