About The Position

As a Survey Technician, you will support office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying project deliverables. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will perform technical tasks using current technology in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. The role supports land survey project efficiency and client satisfaction by processing and reviewing project data, monitoring field production and quality, and coordinating with a supervisor to meet client requirements. Little to no experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided.

Requirements

• Strong desire to learn.
• Strong computer and technical skills.
• Proficiency in technical mathematics.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, or a similar application.
• Knowledge of geometry and trigonometry.

Responsibilities

• Process data using SAM standards, evaluate its accuracy and sufficiency, and ensure compliance with applicable land survey project and industry principles under supervisor direction.
• Monitor field crew production and quality assurance.
• Perform initial quality control of field deliverables according to standards and best practices.
• Coordinate with the supervisor to ensure client-specific requirements are met.
