About The Position

As a Survey Technician, you will support office and field staff by processing incoming information and producing final land surveying project deliverables. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will perform technical tasks using technology in the A/E/C industry and help improve land survey project efficiency and client satisfaction.

Requirements

Strong desire to learn; little to no experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided.
Strong computer and technical skills.
Proficiency in technical math.

Nice To Haves

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, or a similar application.
Prior experience working in land surveying.
Knowledge of geometry and trigonometry.

Responsibilities

Process data using SAM standards, evaluate accuracy and sufficiency, and ensure compliance with applicable land survey project and industry principles under supervisor direction.
Monitor field crew production and quality assurance.
Perform initial quality control of field deliverables according to standards and best practices.
Coordinate with the supervisor to ensure client-specific demands are met.
