About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Guard in Omaha, Nebraska. The role involves monitoring security systems and screens to spot threats before they escalate, in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. Available full-time schedules are Monday through Thursday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Sunday through Thursday, 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.; or Friday through Monday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The wage is $18 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.

• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
