About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify potential threats before they escalate. The role may be based in security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and similar environments. The position is located in Ogden, Utah, and is part-time, with a Thursday–Friday schedule from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The hourly wage is $18.00. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents and write detailed reports.
• Respond promptly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure premises are safe.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
• Protect the safety of individuals and property.
