About The Position

The IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States is currently seeking a Surrogacy & Donor RN Coordinator to join our new RMA of Utah practice. This role involves collaborating with a specialized clinical team to manage the care of patients utilizing third-party reproduction, including egg donors, sperm donors, and gestational carriers. The coordinator will ensure adherence to RMA protocols and FDA compliance, contribute to physician effectiveness by identifying patient care issues and recommending courses of action, and provide emotional and psychological support to patients. Responsibilities also include patient education on treatment plans and medications, following up on laboratory results, assisting physicians with procedures, and maintaining cooperative working relationships within and between departments.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Strong clinical skills, minimum of 6 months clinical experience
  • Experience working with oocyte donors, sperm donors, gestational carriers and intended parents/recipients
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; prior EMR experience preferred
  • Active Registered Nurse state license
  • BLS and/or ACLS (IV certification a plus)

  • Prior experience in women’s healthcare preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a specialized clinical team to manage the care of patients utilizing third party reproduction (egg donors, sperm donors, and/or gestational carriers)
  • Follow required RMA protocols and procedures, including ensuring FDA compliance with periodic review of patient charts for the FDA eligibility determination
  • Contribute to physicians’ effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; provide information and commentary pertinent to patient care plan; recommend possible options and courses of action as appropriate; implement physician directives
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering questions and concerns
  • Resolve patient problems and concerns by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
  • Patient education in regard to treatment plan and medications through e-learning and other patient education available
  • Follow up with patients regarding laboratory values and semen analysis results
  • Assist physician with in-office procedures as needed
  • Maintain a cooperative and productive working relationship intra-departmentally as well as inter-departmentally
