About The Position

Step into a uniquely meaningful role as a Donor Services Coordinator, where every conversation and medical chart review contributes to restoring sight and changing lives. This role involves speaking with donor families experiencing grief and guiding them through the donation process. You will review donor's medical records, complete questionnaires, and communicate with medical staff to determine donor eligibility. Additionally, you will coordinate with funeral homes, medical examiner offices, and hospitals to dispatch Recovery Technicians to donor locations. This position requires the ability to work independently and as a team to make critical decisions and solve problems relating to donation criteria.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills; empathetic by nature.
• Strong technical skills, including Microsoft software, database management, and/or phone systems.
• Ability to multitask, adapt, and manage shifting priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service, social work, insurance claims or healthcare industry experience is a plus!
