Requirements

Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) is mandatory.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Extensive experience in CVOR procedures is required.
A minimum of 2 travel assignments in a surgical capacity is necessary.

Nice To Haves

First Assist experience is preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Assisting in surgical procedures, including but not limited to: Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), Valve Replacements, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Insertions, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) Lobectomies, Pacemaker and AICD Insertions, Septal Myectomy, Ross Procedure, Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH), Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Insertions, Femoral Cannulation, Circulatory Arrest Procedures.
