About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team in a clinical setting. The successful candidate will work from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with major holidays off. This role is critical in providing high-quality care and support to patients, as well as assisting our healthcare professionals in daily operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Nice To Haves

• certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and treatments.
• Perform routine administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Collect and process specimens for laboratory tests.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding medical procedures and instructions.
