About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Technician to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting surgical procedures by providing assistance to the surgical team, ensuring a sterile and safe environment, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
Requirements
- BLS (AHA), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA required.
- Active Colorado DORA license is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
- Experience with a variety of surgical cases including General, Ortho, Robotics, Neuro, Spine, Urology, and ENT.
- Strong technical skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Maintain sterile techniques and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures, providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Maintain accurate counts of instruments and sponges used during surgery.
- Participate in the cleaning and restocking of the operating room after procedures.
- Effectively communicate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow.
- Be available for self-scheduled call shifts as required.
