About The Position

The Surgical Tech supports surgical services in a short-term acute care community hospital. The role performs cases in outpatient, orthopedic, neurological, and vascular specialties; experience in those case types is required. Inpatient and trauma experience is preferred. The schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts, with possible coverage of one night shift during the contract as needed. Weekend work is required, with three weekend shifts per schedule. The position also includes on-call coverage one weeknight per week and every second or third Saturday or Sunday from 0700 to 0700, with a 20-minute response time. Block scheduling is not accommodated. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. All requested time off must be included at submission and is subject to facility approval.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience.
• Experience with outpatient, community hospital, orthopedic, neurological, and vascular cases.
• BLS certification.
• Weekend availability is required.
