Surgical Tech II - OPT

About The Position
As a member of the healthcare team, the Surgical Tech II collaborates with the surgical team to provide patient care, ensure patient goals are met, and carry out the hospital’s mission. The role is scheduled from 0600 to 1430, Monday through Friday, with call shifts on a rotational basis. Weekends and holidays are covered through call shifts. The position is listed at 0.1 FTE and offers a bonus of up to $2,500.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of surgical experience as a Surgical Technologist or Surgical Technician, or a combination of experience in those roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Post-high-school education, certification, or diploma.
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, a Military Operating Room Specialist course, or the Froedtert Health-sponsored Apprentice II program.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certification, or an AHA-approved equivalent, required within 90 days of hire.
