This role involves assisting with procedures in the Pulmonary Special Procedures Unit and at the bedside with the Interventional Pulmonary and Pulmonary Medicine Consult Service. The Surgical Tech II will be responsible for maintaining department equipment, managing supply inventory, and stocking procedure rooms. Under supervision, the individual will assist in operations, which may include setting up the operating room, preparing and transporting patients for surgery, adjusting lights and equipment, passing instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants, holding retractors, cutting sutures, and assisting with counts of sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments.
