About The Position

This is a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) position within Surgical Services at SMMC. The role requires experience in Spine and Total Joint procedures. The shift is 3x12, from 0700 to 1900, with on-call duties from 0700 to 0700. On-call response time is 30 minutes. Weekends are required and may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated. The position involves scrubbing experience and inpatient experience. Floating to the Outpatient Surgery Pavilion (3 OR suites) is required as needed.

Requirements

• Must have Spine and Total Joint experience
• CST, NBSTSA or NCCT is acceptable for national cert
• BLS
• CST
• NBSTSA or NCCT
• 2 years of experience
• If first-timer, must have 3+ years of experience
• Scrubbing experience
• Inpatient experience
• Da Vinci Xi experience

• Plastics cases
• Podiatry cases
• ENT cases
• Robotic assisted Gynecological procedures
• SPD experience preferred
• Outpatient experience
