About The Position

The Surgical Scrub Technician plays a crucial role in the operating room, particularly in obstetrics, assisting in cesarean sections, and ensuring a sterile environment throughout surgical procedures. This position involves night shifts, specifically three 12-hour shifts per week.

Requirements

• Experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician is required.
• Preferably, experience in obstetrics, specifically with cesarean sections.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a sterile surgical environment.
• Provide support during obstetric surgeries, including cesarean sections.
• Manage patient registration processes efficiently.
• Stock and organize supplies within the obstetrics unit.
• Room triage patients and prepare them for surgical procedures.
• Help in the preparation and documentation of birth certificates.
