About The Position

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, this role schedules procedures for the operating room, same day surgery, GI Lab, Pain Clinic and OB. The Surgical Scheduler II also takes telephone orders from physicians for procedures. This role involves entering scheduling information into the computer system, generating daily reports, and distributing them to the appropriate departments.

Requirements

• High school level of communication and/or math skills.
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience in Surgery Scheduling or Medical Tech experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology or coursework taken.
• Must be able to multitask.

Nice To Haves

• Prior scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities
