About The Position
The Surgical Pathology Technician accesses and stores surgical specimens and files and stores materials related to the pathology laboratory. The technician substitutes as needed in the Autopsy Room and assists with preparing labels for frozen section material and other tasks related to surgical pathology.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- One year of experience as a Surgical Pathology Technician preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in science preferred.
- One year of experience as a Surgical Pathology Technician preferred.
