Organ Procurement Coordinator- Per Diem (Temple Hospital)

About The Position
The transplant procurement coordinator partners with the multidisciplinary transplant team to manage and coordinate organ referrals, organ evaluations, and transplant patient logistics during the perioperative transplant phase. The coordinator evaluates organ offer suitability as directed by the solid organ transplant program's surgical director and in accordance with regulatory requirements established by OPTN/UNOS and CMS.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related field, or a combination of relevant education and experience in lieu of a degree.
- One year of experience in organ procurement or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Certification as a Procurement Transplant Coordinator is preferred.
- Certification as an Emergency Medicine Technician is preferred.
