About The Position

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is hiring a full-time Surgical Dental Assistant to support its clinical team and provide patient care during dental implant procedures. The assistant works with prosthodontists and oral surgeons, helps patients feel comfortable and informed, and contributes to a collaborative, mission-driven clinical environment. The role includes clinical assistance, imaging, infection control, patient education, and related office and prosthetic-team support.

Requirements

• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
• At least 2 years of previous experience in a dental assisting role.
• Strong manual dexterity and the ability to handle dental instruments precisely.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Comfort with radiographic equipment and digital dental technology.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with dental implants or prosthodontics is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist prosthodontists and oral surgeons with advanced dental procedures, particularly dental implant treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment while maintaining infection control standards.
• Provide chair-side assistance during procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and keep the treatment area organized.
• Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits.
• Take dental x-rays, process radiographs, and assist with radiographic imaging.
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
• Educate patients about post-operative care and general oral hygiene.
• Support the prosthetic team with inventory management, lab coordination, and recordkeeping.
• Perform office tasks such as scheduling appointments, receiving patients, maintaining records, and ordering supplies.
• Collaborate with oral surgeons, hygienists, Patient Education Consultants, and other clinical staff to support patient care.
• Assist in specialized areas such as oral surgery, periodontics, and prosthodontics.
