About The Position

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is hiring a full-time Surgical Dental Assistant to support oral surgeons and prosthodontists during dental implant procedures. The role contributes to patient care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment and includes chairside assistance, preparation and sterilization of instruments, patient education, and support for office operations. Compensation is $23–$28 per hour, based on experience and certification. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant.
Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle surgical instruments precisely.
Self-starter mentality and excellent focus on patient safety and care.

Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures.
Anticipate clinician needs and maintain a clear, organized treatment area.
Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation procedures.
Ensure patient comfort, monitor well-being, and educate patients on pre- and post-operative care.
Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays according to infection control protocols.
Take dental x-rays and prepare materials for impressions as directed.
Assist with medical clearances and patient record management.
Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies when needed.
Collaborate with surgical and prosthetic teams to ensure seamless patient care.
