About The Position

ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers is hiring a full-time Surgical Dental Assistant to support oral surgeons and prosthodontists during dental implant and other surgical procedures. The role focuses on assisting clinicians, maintaining a safe and organized treatment environment, supporting patient comfort and education, and helping the surgical and prosthetic teams deliver coordinated care. The position also supports office operations as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts required. Compensation is $26–$29 per hour based on experience and certification, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant.
• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
• Strong manual dexterity and the ability to handle surgical instruments precisely.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures.
• Anticipate clinician needs and maintain a clear, organized treatment area.
• Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort, monitor patient well-being, and educate patients on pre- and post-operative care.
• Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays while following infection control protocols.
• Take dental x-rays and prepare materials for impressions as directed.
• Assist with medical clearances and patient record management.
• Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies when needed.
• Collaborate with surgical and prosthetic teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
