About The Position

Join a high-end surgical dental practice on the Upper East Side of New York City as a Surgical Dental Assistant. The role assists with sophisticated surgical procedures, including IV sedation, and helps ensure procedures run smoothly while providing patients with a safe and comfortable experience. This is a full-time, long-term career opportunity in a busy, supportive practice, with opportunities for professional growth and career advancement without additional schooling.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with no weekends. Compensation is $28–$38 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of surgical dental assisting experience, including oral surgery.
• Experience with IV sedation; must be able to perform IV sedation.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and professionalism.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during surgical procedures, including IV sedation.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and surgical equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation.
• Support the clinical team in delivering a high standard of care and efficiency.
