About The Position

Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. (SAMGI) is seeking a Surgical Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our general surgery team at Redlands Community Hospital, a 211-bed facility in Redlands, CA. This position provides a unique opportunity for a skilled APP with experience in surgical care to work closely with our surgeons in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Active California NP or PA license and certification (or eligibility for California licensure).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• Surgical or inpatient experience preferred
• Endoscopy experience as a major plus

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care for general surgery patients in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Conduct inpatient rounds, manage consults, and provide follow-up care, working closely with hospitalists who admit patients ages 15 and older (no pediatric admissions).
• Perform endoscopic procedures as needed (if trained and credentialed) and assist in minor procedures under the supervision of a surgeon.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record in compliance with hospital and SAMGI standards.
• Work at the hospital’s clinic located conveniently across the street, providing continuity of care for surgical patients in an outpatient setting.
• Participate in patient and family education, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction and understanding of care plans.
