Surge Merchandiser - FARMINGDALE, NY
About The Position
As a Surge Merchandiser at Anderson Merchandisers, you will support retail clients by ensuring products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and available for purchase. You will work with store teams and travel to different retail locations to complete merchandising tasks during peak periods, special projects, or urgent needs. You must have access to your own mobile device with a data plan for assignments and team communication. The role requires flexibility to visit multiple stores within a designated area or region, work with minimal supervision, and complete store visits and projects on time. You must be able to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds and have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Previous retail or merchandising experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements

- Reliable access to a personal smartphone with a data plan for work-related tasks.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to travel to various store locations within a designated region.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Conversational proficiency in English, both spoken and written, sufficient to communicate with customers and/or coworkers in real time.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Stock, organize, and display merchandise in assigned retail stores according to company and client guidelines.
- Communicate with store personnel and supervisors to ensure displays are in prime condition.
- Complete store visits and projects on time and report results using the company's mobile app.
- Assist with the setup and execution of promotional and seasonal displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Anderson Merchandisers professionally.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product or display issues with store management.
- Travel to multiple store locations as assigned within a specific area or region.
