About The Position

The Surface Miner Operator works with an established team responsible for scheduling, operating, and servicing three Surface Miners. The team works on highly specialized rock excavation projects, primarily around the DFW area. Sinacola is seeking a motivated individual interested in unique challenges, teamwork, and growth potential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or mining environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to extract minerals from the earth's surface.
• Maintain and repair equipment as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate with team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
