Miner - Experienced Loader Operator
About The Position
Lannon Stone Products is hiring an experienced loader operator for its mining operation in Sussex, Wisconsin. Miners work with hard limestone in changing Wisconsin weather and contribute to safe, productive operations. The role involves operating a range of mobile equipment, supporting fleet maintenance, repairing and building rock-processing equipment, and developing and maintaining the mine site. Team members may also help with grading, cleaning, landscaping, and facility construction. Travel between company sites is an essential part of the job. The position requires frequent physical activity and work in manufacturing environments around industrial equipment, as well as driving and operating mobile equipment. Requirements
- At least 3 years of fast-paced front-end loader experience is preferred.
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills; English proficiency at minimum.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a pre-employment functional test, physical, and drug screen.
- Able to work in a team environment and contribute to operational success.
- Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary environment and learn and perform varied jobs.

Responsibilities
- Understand mining hazards and actively plan and work safely.
- Operate equipment needed for the job, including haul trucks, skid loaders, front-end loaders, dozers, backhoes, cranes, and golf carts.
- Work alongside mechanics to maintain and repair equipment.
- Repair, redesign, and build rock-processing equipment, including conveyors, screens, and crushers, as well as perform ironworking, motor maintenance, and automation work.
- Help develop and maintain the mine site through berms, grading, shop and office cleaning, landscaping, and facility construction.
- Work collaboratively, support teammates, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Travel reliably between company sites.
