About The Position

Dave & Buster’s Supporting Game Technicians, also referred to as Gaming Support Techs or Midway Techs, repair and maintain the building’s games, simulators, and technical equipment. They assist Guests and maintain ideal player conditions in the midway while contributing to a fun, welcoming environment. The role includes game maintenance, stocking and securing merchandise and supplies, maintaining clean and organized game and storage areas, and providing prompt, friendly Guest service. Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred but not required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team Members.
Must be friendly and able to smile while working days, nights, and/or weekends as required.

Responsibilities

Keep the immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of problems or unusual matters, take corrective action where needed, or suggest alternatives.
Provide timely, accurate service and communicate information to Guests, Team Members, and Managers.
Greet Guests positively, assist with requests and questions, make recommendations, and invite Guests to return.
Repair and maintain amusement equipment in a timely manner.
Load and refill tickets in redemption games and secure ticket storage areas.
Notify a Manager when a Guest appears unhappy.
Stock, display, and secure merchandise in storage areas, and conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts when applicable.
Check and restock supplies, bring areas up to standard, and discuss problem areas with a Manager.
Keep midway games clean, organized, and unobstructed.
Position and set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.
Maintain and organize the tech room and storage areas.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly game maintenance as directed by management, safely and efficiently.
Assist with general store maintenance and support other Team Members as needed.
Maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships with other Team Members.
