About The Position

Dave & Buster’s Gaming Support Techs, also called Midway Techs, repair and maintain the building’s games, simulators, and technical equipment. They assist Guests and maintain ideal player conditions in the midway while providing timely service and contributing to a positive Guest experience. The role also includes merchandise and supply stocking, inventory, game and area cleanliness, and general store maintenance. Team Members work days, nights, and/or weekends as required in a noisy, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to clearly communicate with Guests and other Team Members.
Must be friendly and able to smile while working.
Must be able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required.
Must be able to work off an extension ladder.
Must be able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.
Must be able to move about the facility and stand for long periods.
Must be able to read and write handwritten notes.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Technical and/or electrical skills are preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain amusement equipment, games, simulators, and technical equipment in a timely manner.
Assist Guests with requests and questions, make recommendations, communicate service information, and provide a welcoming experience.
Load and refill tickets in redemption games and secure ticket storage areas.
Notify a Manager about Guests who appear unhappy and promptly communicate significant problems or unusual matters to the immediate supervisor.
Stock, display, and secure merchandise; conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts when applicable.
Check and restock necessary supplies, bring areas up to standard, and discuss problem areas with a Manager.
Review the cleanliness and organization of midway games and ensure games are clean and unobstructed.
Position and set up displays to increase Guest traffic and promote sales.
Assist with daily maintenance and organization of the tech room and storage areas.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly game maintenance as directed by management.
Assist with general store maintenance and support other Team Members as needed.
Maintain a cooperative and harmonious working relationship with other Team Members.
