About The Position

Supported Living Specialists help adults who experience developmental disabilities to live independently in their own houses and apartments. This role involves assisting clients with making their own choices, learning new skills, and participating in community activities. Responsibilities may include helping with household chores, personal care such as showering, and medication administration. The position offers one-on-one interaction, allowing for the development of strong relationships with clients. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Be able to transport clients in your car.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a current driver’s license.
• Have a reliable personal vehicle.
• Have at least two years of driving experience.
• Have auto insurance.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Be able to pass a reference check.
• Be able to pass a physical with a lifting test of 50lbs.
• Be able to pass a criminal history background check.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in developmental disability field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help adults who experience developmental disabilities live independently in their own houses and apartments.
